LOS GUIONES DE LA SEXUALIDAD: ¿QUÉ REPRESENTA LA PORNOGRAFÍA?
Main Article Content
Abstract
This essay is grounded on reflections initiated during the 1970. It proposes an analysis of porn movies and pornography in general in terms of scripts and microdots, based on works of Gagnon & Simon, 1986) and Stoller, 1991). Recent works developed in the field of porn studies and porn materialsare discussed from the earlier works. We note the construction of the field studies, which proposes a new delimitation of an epistemic field including implicit axiology and an imbrication of episteme and doxa. A relative decrease of the importance of long and detailed scripts and the increasing importance of microdots, i.e. more condensed forms of scripts is observed. We are confronted to a diversification of the esthetic through which pornography makes itself accessible to wider audiences. More work is necessary to understand the complexities of the porn phenomenon, and to describe what is represented in pornography and what pornography represents.
